DR MARK GORMAN

Mark is a consultant plastic surgeon, department lead at Salford Royal (facial plastics), specialising in oculoplastic, nasal, ear, abdominal and microsurgical (breast, head / neck and lower limb) reconstruction.

Aesthetically his expertise spans non-surgical to surgical. Commonly using dermal filler to reshape the face has influenced his surgical approach. This includes more often than not using using fat transfer to augment facial features when undertaking facelifts, preferencing closed rhinoplasty, downtime is kept to a minimum inline with a non-surgical approach, Mark’s other interests include HD liposuction to contour the body more artistically. He is medical director at KP Surgical, has been invited by faculty for BAAPS teaching, is a KOL for UK aesthetics companies, and runs his own aesthetic training company. He has created the Look Body Mind approach to aesthetics & wellness, which he can discuss at consultations.

Khatra Paterson is a highly accomplished practitioner in the field of non-surgical cosmetic treatments, known for her dedication to excellence and unwavering commitment to helping her clients achieve their aesthetic goals. With over 13 years of experience in the industry, Khatra has honed her expertise through continuous education and training, offering patients the latest and most advanced techniques in non-surgical aesthetics.

Khatra Paterson is an active member of respected organisations within the cosmetic industry, including the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses. Her commitment to best practices and patient safety is further demonstrated by her affiliation with the Aesthetic Complication Expert Group. Additionally, she maintains registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and holds comprehensive insurance coverage through Hamilton Fraser.

SCRUB NURSE​

Irena is a seasoned Scrub Nurse at KP Surgical, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to her crucial role in the operating room. With a career spanning over three decades, Irena’s commitment to surgical excellence, patient care, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene is unmatched.

Irena’s career in healthcare commenced in 1978 when she graduated from Nursing College in Poznan, Poland. Her early nursing years were marked by her dedication to caring for neonatal patients in the intensive care unit in Derna, Libya. In 1986, she returned to her native Poland and embarked on a career as a Scrub Nurse at the University Teaching Paediatric Hospital in Poznan, specialising in general paediatric, neonatal, and cardiac surgery.

Over the years, Irena’s career took her on diverse paths. She briefly took a career break from 1993 to 2000 to raise her family but continued her weekend job in a Private Surgical Clinic in Poznan, Poland. She then transitioned to the role of Scrub Nurse in the Angiographic Department in Poznan. In 2005, she joined the Transform Medical Group, specialising in cosmetic surgery, where she served as a Scrub Nurse for 15 years. Since 2020, she has been an integral part of the surgical team at HCA Wilmslow Hospital.

BRIAN SIMONS

Mr Brian Simons is a leading plastic surgeon with significant experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

His specialist interests include

Hybride breast enhancement,
Liposuction,
Genital rejuvenation including female genital rejuvenation,
Fat transfer Gynaecomastia,
Eyelid and eyebrow surgery,
Surgical abs, and
Non-surgical facial rejuvenation.

He also performs mommy make overs, 360 HD liposuction and various cancer surgeries

Mr Simons privately practices as the lead surgeon at the Ministry of Aesthetics, alongside various clinics around the UK; Including KP Surgical.

During his career, Mr Simons’ experience has given him a broad range of plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery procedures that allow him to help his patients to select the option that is best for them.

Mr Simons utilises his expert services for a wealth of further aesthetic requirements aside from those mentioned above. These include labiaplasty, chest reduction and breast enlargement as well as otoplasty, including earlobe repair and reshaping, and eyelid correction.

WASEEM R SAEED ​

Waseem Saeed has 31 years of UK plastic surgery experience.

He specialised in Plastic Surgery in 1992 and joined the UK training programme working in prestigious units in London, Edinburgh and a 1-year Fellowship at the Kleinert Institute in the USA.

In 1999 he was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Plastic Surgery at St James’s University Hospital, Leeds which is one of the largest microsurgical units in the world. Following his work in the humanitarian field of earthquake surgery, he was appointed Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Manchester University Medical School. After 16 years in the UK National Health Service, he moved into independent practice.

Waseem Saeed is committed to humanitarian work in his field, travelling to Pakistan, Indonesia, China and Haiti to carry out limb salvage surgery after the tragic earthquakes in these countries.

As a result of his extensive reconstructive experience Dr Waseem has taught at the Royal College of Surgeons, London and the AO Foundation, Switzerland, on limb salvage techniques. In 2010 he was awarded a Special Recognition Award by the UK EMBF for his work.

He continues to provide charity surgery to children with limb disorders in Multan, Pakistan with twice yearly trips.

Dr Waseem is also the leading plastic surgeon in complex revision rhinoplasty and we are delighted to have him join the team. His area of interest here at KP Surgical will be Rhinoplasty.
